We would like to ensure a marketing tool we've designed is really apt and accurate?

We are a fully mechanised terracotta tile and brick making company situated at Feroke, near Calicut, on the banks of Chaliyar river. We are thinking of expanding our operations in Kerala and the nearby states. We thought of going for some simple tools like brochures.

We designed a six page product brochure, a 16 page brochure on a concept called comparison, and six two page product brochures to complement the main product brochure.

I request you please go through these brochures, critically examine the content, nature of the content, visuals and positioning of the products. Please comment on the linguistic accuracy also. Examine the theme around which the whole story is spun.

Please mails us your suggestions.

This brochure is to draw in a comparison to the mind of the customer about the benefits of  using clay tiles and not cement or ceramic tiles on top of the reinforced concrete roof.

Please verify whether the communication powerful enough to bring in a desired change.

Then to accompany this multi-page brochures we have created a set of 6 two page brochures:

The first of this series is for the roofing tiles. view it below and mail back your opinion.

Hope you approve the content, design and positioning. Please comment. Then we created another tow page pull out for hollow blocks and bricks. We have to grab a share of the wall building products market. As you terracotta hollow bricks is the ideal material for wall construction.

When you need to ensure a proper entry and exit for the fresh air you have to use the ventilator block.  Please see the brochure we have designed for the ventilator blocks.

Let the smoke and stale air inside be driven out in a natural way. Let's make a 'Hawa Mahal' in our dwelling place too.

Producing building products, is not the only area The Calicut Tile Co. are experts in. They can use these products in its most effective way. The Calicut Tile
Co. has started a construction division also. Please see a two page pull out designed for promoting the construction arm of The Calicut Tile Co.

Facing page continuation ad

This is another concept in two page ad spreads,  The purpose is to make a reader linger for more time in our ad that too conscientiously. This will create more retention impact. I hope it's a better method to get maximum per reader exposure time for any ad. The more he lingers around the more his attention and the more better will be the opinion made about the product in the ad. He will be more inclined to talk about it to his friends and people in his circles. The response will always be positive and results more pronounced.

Please go through these ads and please tell me your opinion about it.

Inn connection with the "Dealer Meet 2014" some more ads were designed. I request you please go through them with a undeterred attention and tell me if you find any problems in these ads. If you have any suggestions please mail me.

Advertisement Effectiveness Testing

We would like to enhance the effectiveness of our advertisements. As a first step of which we would like to know what you think about these two advertisements of ours. These are meant to be released in some niche magazines. Architects' publications, trade associations' magazines, builders' journals, interior designers' publications etc.

What do you say?

Would you please spare a moment and examine a little carefully the visualisation stance, quality of visual used, relevance and aptness caption and copy, quality of positioning etc
of this ad?

Notions such as "A piece of Calicut" and "a piece from Calicut tile company" is juxtaposed. It 's to hint Calicut Tile Co: is an important name in Calicut. Through this positioning the acceptance of products from Calicut Tile Co: over wide geographical area is being stressed. Body copy goes on to establish the uniqueness of the products and its uncompromising quality. Close of the copy is with a strong appeal to adhere to clay products from Calicut Tile Co:
That piece of Calicut.

Please do comment on this, your suggestions are important to us and will be reciprocated.

Terracotta Bricks

He made it out from earth.  Everything is made of earth.  Fire, Air, Water, Omnipresent Void (Aakaasham) everything comes after earth.  Of the five elements of which this universe is made of, earth occupies the prime position. It’s there at the base of everything. We are born out of it and will return to it, for sure.

You can mould your earth to your whims and fancies.  At its clayey phase it’s easy to mould the earth to any required shape or size.  That’s why we catch them young, at the clayey age and pour enough water, mix it with other cementing substances and knead or prepare it well, subject it to stringent extrusion measures and mould out better shapes applying the right pressure and right heat and make the thus moulded green shapes to reddish brown permanent shapes.  We know, that which is born in fire can stand many weathers.

So get the best clay, prepare it well, make it capable of withstanding the torments, hostile weathers may inflict upon, subject it to the varying temperatures of life, and then let it come out of the fire in bright colours.

So that it can survive many centuries, unfazed. We know the mother terracotta figurines of Mohenjadaro and Harappa of the Indus valley (3000-1500 BC) stood the test of time, still tells volumes of human history; and you can listen to the same music from Mesopotamia too.

Burned bricks as a building material stands second to none. “Ishtika” (red bricks) squared the pyre of “Ittakarmas” of the ancients and men of advanced ages alike. Mechanised brick making in Kerala is as old as The Calicut Tile Co, it’s no figure of speech. Moulding the mud in its right shapes and right sizes started here as early as 1878, and we are proud of it.

We can say it in simple words. The communication should really be simple.  It must be powerful to carry out the message to the target.  So please read on to have a real feel of  what we have said so far:

The same thing can be represented or related in a multidimensional manner. The only fact to be remembered is that each dimension you adopt or bring into discussion must fortify the intended meaning of the communiqué. Please look at the three dimensional façade of the promotional communiqué given below in two languages:
Don’t you feel the features of this advertisement are too non-alien to ignore. Go through, respond and claim the gift.

Go for the right and righteous always. We pray you always be able to take, arrive at the right decision:

Forget not to look at the inners too before you arrive at a decision:
